Mendocino County’s cannabis system manager, Sean Connell, who started the job at the start out of 2019, resigned on Thursday. His resignation comes soon after roughly nine months on the job, and a single day prior to the close of Mendocino’s “Phase One” of cannabis cultivation applications. It is apparently the case that Connell gave two weeks notice and will stay on till then.
Connell, who was previously employed in the county’s arranging and developing division, is a Lake County resident and military veteran. In response to a request for comment on his resignation created by means of Instagram account on Sunday afternoon, Connell initially demurred, then mentioned, “It’s not a refusal. I care deeply about the good results of the cannabis system. Even so I had a conflict in leadership opinion [sic]. I want the Director [sic] and the County all the ideal in the future.”
